Accessibility statement
We make every effort to ensure that the website is accessible to as many
people as possible, in compliance with W3C best practice accessibility
guidelines. We aim to conform to the
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines level 2.
In doing so, it's acting in accordance with the Disability Discrimination
Act 1995 Part Four (as amended by Special Educational Needs Disability Act
2001) and the Disability Discrimination Act 2005.
It's possible that some of our older pages and other websites might not
currently conform to these standards. However, we are actively trying to
ensure that all future web pages are compliant with W3C guidelines for
accessibility.

Make the most of your visit to the Homeserve website with some tips
Increase the font size
For improved visibility you may be able to increase (or decrease) the size
of text and alter the choice of font.
Internet Explorer users

Open your Internet Options window by going to
View (or Tools if you have it) and
scrolling down.

Choose Fonts and select your preferred style, alphabet
and size, then click OK.

Go to Accessibility within Internet
Options and click on Ignore font styles/font sizes
specified on Web pages.

When you click OK, this should ensure that the page you
are viewing now appears with your specifications.
Change the colour of text and the background
You may require specific colours in order to be able to view My Account
easily.
Internet Explorer users

Go to Internet Options (as above) and choose
Colours.

You can change text and background page colour as well as the colour in
which links appear, and then click OK.

Choose Accessibility from within Internet
Options and click on Ignore colours specified on Web
pages.

When you click OK, this should ensure that the page you are viewing now
appears with your specifications.
Can I use the Homeserve website if I have JavaScript disabled on my browser?
Yes. Having JavaScript turned off will not stop you from accessing any areas
or using any of our functions.
